Sacha Baron Cohen spills ashes on Ryan Seacrest
As the main figure in the movie Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen is quite familiar with making things awkward. So pulling a prank on Ryan Seacrest when he attended the red carpet in 2012 shouldn’t come as a surprise. But still, what he did to him was on the edge of going too far. It all happened in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. In this interview Sacha Baron Cohen, aka The Dictator, says that he brought the ashes of his friend Kim Jong II, because it was his dream to come to the oscars. But while he says that, he pretends that he is looking at the back of the urn, causing the urn to turn over and throwing all the ashes over Ryan Seacrests’ jacket. The prank caused quite a stir. It left a lot of Hollywood stars debating whether or not they found the joke funny. Thankfully Ryan Seacrest took it like a champ and stayed in a good mood after the prank.

At the 2015 TIME 100 gala, Comedian Amy Schumer threw herself in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the Red Carpet. When she saw them, she felt like pulling a prank. So Amy then asked her publicist if she could dive in front of them, acting like she fell. So that’s what she did.
If only she could turn back time. Because if you thought this was awkward, you will cringe even more if you hear what happened next. Because after this, Kim cracked a smile but Kanye didn’t even blink and just kept walking. And then Kim and Kanye just stepped over her. Ouch!

Usually at these red carpet events, the celebrities want to make sure they sparkle on the red carpet and light up the room. So at the 2019 Met Gala, Katty Perry made sure she did that. Although, we don’t think this is what most people mean by lighting up the room. But ah well, attention is attention right? And she sure got it with this chandelier outfit. Hilarious! And the funniest thing is that she had to arrive in a UPS truck because she couldn’t sit down in the outfit. So later, when reporters asked how she would sit down, Katy just rolled her eyes and said: “You don’t sit down at the Met Gala”.
You would think by the time the afterparty started, she would turn up in a more comfortable outfit right? Well she did turn up in a different outfit and we think it must be a bit more comfortable, but this definitely was not what we expected…

Kaitlyn Bristowe her dress accident
You would think that all these amazing and expensive red carpet clothes would be designed not to rip. If a dress is so expensive it would be fine right? But apparently at Red Carpets, you just have to expect the worst because that’s definitely what happened to bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.
As she sat down in the Emmys her zipper decided to break, causing her butt to be exposed if she was going to stand up. So from that moment on, Kaitlyn probably had one mission and one mission only, which was: not standing up at all! Unfortunately for Kaitlyn (and very entertaining for us) that was harder than it sounds. Kaitlyn decided to tweet about it on Twitter and entertained us all with her awkward but oh so hilarious updates. Throughout the night we would read messages as:
“Here’s the kicker. I’m in the wrong seat and people are asking me to move”, and later when everybody stood up to applaud for Bettty White’s speech and she didn’t: “I either stood for Betty White and showed my ass, or stayed seated and looked like an ass.”.

Okay so we have all been there right?! You’re going for a night out and once you start drinking you just turn into some crazy insatiable monster and all you can think about is food. Tiffany probably did and she decided to plan ahead and bring some emergency packages. So at the 2019 Met Gala she brought a glamorous handbag and decided to put some chicken in it. Tiffany told the reporter there’s not enough food inside the Met Gala so she brought some herself and put some chicken in her bag. Ahh, and who can blame her? She actually did everyone a favor because we all know a hangry woman can do crazy stuff! Maybe next time she could ask Katy Perry if she can dress up as some edible grilled chicken?

Man tries to crawl under America Ferrera’s dress
When America Ferrera was attending the Red Carpet in 2016, something really creepy happened. The “How to train your dragon 2” star was posing on the red carpet with her co-stars at the premiere of the film in Cannes, France. But while she was posing in front of the cameras, a man ran towards her without her noticing it. America Ferrera was busy posing for the pictures but then the man got on his knees and tried to crawl under her white dress. Security eventually dragged the guy away, but the actress seemed pretty upset by the accident. And we totally understand. Poor America Ferrera!

You could know Jennifer Lawrence from her great acting skills. But something else Jennifer is turning out to be really good at, and you might remember her for it, is her managing to keep falling over on the red carpet. At the 2013 SAG awards, Jennifer’s curse for tripping down on the red carpet started. The SAG awards took place a month before the Oscars. When Jennifer accepted the award of best actress at that show, her dress got caught up under a chair or someone’s foot. And that’s where it started, she tripped!
