Why You Should Use A Block Of Soap In Your Garden

We’ll explain you the benefits of soap in your garden
Gardening is a real profession, and not everyone knows how to properly maintain a garden. Fortunately, there are numerous tricks and ways to make things easier for you and make gardening fun. For example, there is now a man who uses a bar of soap in his garden. And hey, it turns out to be very effective too. We explain how it works.
It’s great to spend long evenings in the garden, all together at the barbecue and linger over a refreshing beer. Before you know it, it will be autumn again, so we should all enjoy it as much as possible! However, your garden will not automatically be ready for summer. No, you can still be quite busy with that. Pulling weeds, sweeping leaves and sand, mowing the lawn, repotting plants and you name it. How can you make it easier on yourself? By simply using a bar of soap while gardening. Read on the next page why soap is so useful in the garden.

Pests
Yes, really! Soap seems to be a handy tool in the garden. Thus, people use soap in their garden for countless reasons, but the main reason is one that probably bothers many a household. Especially in the summer, many people are bothered by this and sometimes even avoid the garden because of it. This is obviously a shame!
Soap solves this problem easily! Which problem are we talking about? You can read that on the next page.
Special type of soap
With a block of soap you can easily chase away pests. Especially bugs that can destroy your garden by, for example, gnawing away at plants.
It is of course a shame if you have spent months repotting plants and within a few days they are suddenly bitten to pieces. With soap you chase these critters away. How does that work exactly?
First of all, it is important to know that you cannot use just any bar of soap in your garden. In fact, you have to use a certain kind of soap, preferably one of organic origin. Soap of organic origin breaks down slowly and mixes with your plants. If you choose a chemical soap, your plants will rot. So what else do you need to watch out for?
Ingredient
The soap should also have a specific ingredient, which is eucalyptus extract. The eucalyptus scent scares away insects, deer, mice and other pests from your plants. Very handy of course, but you must know exactly what to do with the soap. Hang it up or put it down? On the next page we explain several ways.

Different ways
You can apply the soap in several ways. First, you can scrape the soap with a cheese slicer, or grate it. Be careful not to let the grated pieces of soap just fall into the sand.
You can also break the soap, but just using the whole block works well too. The important thing is that the soap does not touch the ground. What works well is to attach your soap to thin bamboo sticks. For example, attach a pair of tights or socks to the stick and put the bar of soap in there. Hang them as close to the ground as possible. Wait a few days, and you will see that pests have not dared to come near your plants! Who would have thought that soap can be useful even in your garden!
