Young Woman Forced to Live in Container – But Wait Until You See The Interior!

When Sophia’s rental agreement was not extended, she was forced to live in an old shipping container, the only place she could afford. Anything but comfortable, it was dark, damp, and she had to share it with quite a few spiders.

However, this wasn’t going to get Sophia down, and she decided to make the most out of an unpleasant situation, trying to create something beautiful out of nothing. The problem was that she really wasn’t sure whether it would be possible. The container was, of course, never built with the intent of being lived in.

Sophia’s biggest fear was that the condensation would continue to come back, even after renovating. Curious about the outcome? Check out the next page.

If you entered this space blindfolded, you would never have guessed that the outside would be an old shipping container. Sophia’s experience with interior decorating gave her some very useful tools to create something truly stunning inside the container.

The wooden module in the corner hides a lot of storage space, but also functions as an office and a cozy couch.

By adding a small extension to the old container, Sophia created a bright and spacious kitchen/dining area, as well as the entryway to the home.

And if you’re wondering what that wooden module was all about, it actually houses the bedroom! With some natural lighting from two custom skylights.

Would you see yourself living in such a space? Or maybe use it as a small guest apartment, right next to your home. Sophia proved that if you think outside the box, some amazing things can result.
