23 Year Old Woman Lives in a 290 Square Feet House – But the Inside Will Surprise You!

Could you live like this?

Most people dream of living in a big house with lots of rooms and living space. But not Andrea (23) who knew that with her budget it would be impossible to buy a conventional home. “Without a partner or help from your family it’s impossible to afford a house nowadays” she said, explaining how she ended up with her tiny home.

With its 290 square foot, it doesn’t really look like much, most people initially mistake it for a small garden shed. But the way it’s decorated make it really special! It’s cozy, warm and you just want to cuddle up in a blanket on the couch in this tiny cottage.

Andrea’s spirit shows us the benefit of thinking outside the box, no exuberant rent prices and only a very small mortgage has completely changed her life and future perspective. Leaving her with more financial freedom to travel the world.

We’re sure you’ll love it just as much as we do. You’ll find the pictures on the next page!

The wooden home gives off a warm atmosphere and from many angles actually seems a lot bigger than its actual size. And the type of spruce wood used makes it very low maintenance, ensuring the house will be standing here for over a hundred years.

Andrea especially loves the way the natural light can change to hue of the wood, in the bright sun it looks nearly golden whereas on a chilly winter day it gives off a tranquil grey color. Truly a house that changes with the seasons.

But we’ll keep you waiting no longer, as on the next page we’ll show you the interior of Andrea’s home.

Like the outside, the inside is almost entirely made out of wood. It really takes you back in time, to how our great great grandparents lived over 200 years ago. And since such a large part of the house is built out of low impact material Andrea’s taxes have actually gone down by a lot!

For decoration Andrea has decided to keep it quaint and simple, no high design furniture but back to basic quality and comfort. She’s even managed to include many pieces from her grandparents, who sadly passed away right before Andrea finished her home. Through the memories imbued in her furniture it feels like they are still with her at times.

Believe it or not but her small home actually fits up to 20+ people. Last year Andrea celebrated her birthday and invited all her loved ones, it was a tight fit, but it did fit! She even has space for Franky, her 6 year old Golden Retriever.

Head to the next page to see the rest of the interior, including the second floor!

The small but complete kitchen has has everything required to make and bake Andrea’s favorite recipes, many of which are handed down from her grandmother.

And how is this for a morning view? Andrea loves to wake up early, open the balcony doors and listen to the birds from her own bed, with a fresh cup of coffee in her hands.

Do you like it so far? Check out the bathroom and bedrooms on the final page!

Would you have imaged this tiny home would have space for a shower? Honestly it’s truly surprising how much fits while not being too cluttered.

And last not but least, Andrea’s (and Franky’s) bedroom. She loves laying down and staring at the beautiful wooden ceiling, while listening to the sounds of her home.

What do you think? Would you want to live here?
